Jack's One Year Doctor Appointment!

Well, here are some things we learned:

1. Weight is 16 lbs. Apparently we have not been feeding him enough French Fries and Cheesie puffs. Also, as a point of reference, I did not make 20 lbs until I was 18 months old. Don't even bother asking about the chart, he's still not on it. Good grief.

2. Length is 30 inches. This is the 57th percentile. It also makes finding pants that don't look like floods and don't fall off as Jackson crawls away difficult. This is just one reason summer is so much easier.

3. Head circumference is still in 2nd percentile. This at least is not that difficult to get around, because they do make hats in his size, believe it or not.

4. Jackson now receives a ration of Carnation Instant breakfast in his bottle twice a day. Which is good, because he has refused all other food due to the 4 teeth that are coming through the top. So, we're pretty much back at Square One. *SIGH*

5. He may have the world's tiniest head, but he is pretty smart. Among other things he can wave bye bye when you say we're leaving, blow kisses, give real kisses when you ask for one. No no no no is his favorite phrase these days. He also says done and Night-night.

That's all for now!
