Yes that is a cheesie puff in my son's hand. It all started with a casual conversation with Sean's sister, about whether or not Jackson was eating Cheerios yet. I think he has successfully eaten one. And I can't be completely sure of that but I did see him munching and the Cheerio disappeared. So Sara mentioned the Gerber puffs because they are easily melted when gummed by someone who hasn't any teeth. Sean decided cheesy puffs would be better, and the minute we brought them home, they were Jackson's. He began his love affair as we were putting away the groceries, when he crawled up to one of the bags and snatched his beloved cheesie puffs from the clutches of the Tops plastic. He then played with the bright yellow and orange bag, trying to find his way in, and then took off, crawling and dragging the cheesie puffs with him to his lair (ok maybe just to the living room). Unfortunately his father and I failed to get the camera out on time, as the child grew weary with the heaviness of the beloved cheesie puff bag. But we did get some "after photos". He did want more, as you can see, but we cut him off at two puffs and a whopping 12 calories. (Quite a lot when you consider he only weighs about 15 1/2 lbs). If can't already tell, I'm kidding; the boy could stand to gain a little meat on his bones. We only cut him off because he demanded to crawl around with the cheesy puff and I think carpet cleaner can only get so much ground in fake powdered cheese out of the rug.

Although we didn't get the ultra-cute snatching of the cheesie puff bag, we did make Jackson do some other tricks. Notice the cheesie puff bag in the background. That's me on camera and Anabelle directing. You'll hear her meow through the entire thing. (I think she was displeased with Jackson's performance.)
